New trends in the labor market- TELEWORKING

Working at home is becoming increasingly popular. Firms save costs and better connect employees family life with career. But it is not suitable for everyone, it requires the will and discipline.
For 18 percent of job seekers is teleworking and other flexible forms of work the main criterion when choosing work. The complete work from home can have only a few percent of the firms. Significantly higher proportion of part-time but when an employee works from home just one or two days a week, showed a survey of the LMC.
“The introduction of telework is not suitable for all companies. Can not stand at a distance such as strip, build a house or serve customers in a supermarket. For most non-manual activities can be tools for telework successfully used. In addition to classical communication via phone, e- mail, chat or video conferencing is one of the main tools supporting the so-called on-line office. Basically it is a complex software package allowing access to corporate data anytime, anywhere with the ease of editing, “explains Michael Martoch of, a specialist on the work at a distance. He adds that working outside the office works well for professionals as a web developer, telephone operator, a journalist, a worker in the field of marketing and services and other fields that do not require personal presence.
It can also work out of bed, depending on the outcome
One company that offers teleworking to its employees (teleworking), is published by John Melvil Publishing. “We have dozens of external collaborators and we absolutely do not care where they work, whether from home, coffee shop, or out of bed. To manage and coordinate the work using an internal system that acts as a sort of Facebook for a closed group of people. Share the files over it and is a simple way to enter and registration tasks, “explains Thomas Publishing Director Baranek. It adds that in this way, managers can monitor events from afar, without having to intervene in projects in detail – so if you are not overtly asked for any input or opinion. Teleworking employees abused by a lamb. “All are happy to do this work, and we are happy to work just for us. We are a project oriented company and therefore their results. Production of the book does not cheat.” Also at Atlas Copco, which supplies technology to the construction industry, employees teleworking commonly used. “Especially people from the administration of the IT department of personnel and communications. Hundred percent work from home, then have two accounts, which we did not want to come and who moved out of Prague, and then a manager who has a small child,” says Hana Stefanova from Atlas Copco, according to which the flexible part-time corporate culture. And experience with them are generally positive. “In the beginning we had to invest in a system that connected the employee with the office. Through him we can find out exactly who does what. We thus have their people under control. For this benefit the company gained better business people and their loyalty,” says Hana Stefanova.

With 46 percent of people increases the interest in the position. “Since the beginning of March, I work in marketing a company, partly from home. So I am able to remotely handle most tasks. Ride to the office for meetings are scheduled in advance, and then flexibly as the need to meet with colleagues. As a huge I see the benefit that I can take care of her five-month son, and while doing a job that I enjoy and which is realized, “says John Vyhlídalová, who is also director of the project plenkyvpraci. cz, which seeks, inter alia, to promote flexible forms of work. It requires a dose will Teleworking is not suitable for everyone. It requires a great deal of will and willingness to adhere to the working mode at home. 1. From my point of view “Teleworking” is a great new trend in the labour market, because you can earn your money at home, in the park or in a ice-cream parlour. Nobody cares where you do your work, but the main thing is that you do your work. From my point of view, the people who do “Teleworking” needs a lot of self-discipline and motivation, because I think I would take the work more seriously if my boss is in the same building than me and can control me whenever he wants to do this.

  2. In my opinion teleworking is not as good for employees as it seems. Of course for enterprices it is very convinient solution. this kind of workers are more cheaper and operating costs of company are also lower. this kind of worki is ideal for students and mothers because they can customize hours of working to theirs daily schedules. But generally this type of work is very exacting and less profitable. Person who is working in as teleworker need to be very self-disciplined, dutiful, timely and high motivated because of surroundings in which there are a lot of distracting things. In addition these people don’t meet with other workers and don’t create interpersonal relationships so important in companies.

  3. It is worth noting that the positive effect of teleworking can be found in the whole society – teleworkers do not commute to work, and hence on the streets there are less cars, what reduces traffic jams and reduces emissions to the environment. For employees teleworking means first of all no annoying – especially in big cities – commuting to work. It also provides greater opportunities to find interesting work, because of the fact that a candidate for the job is not limited by place of his residence.

  4. In my opinion “Teleworking” is connected to advantages and disadvantages. Of course, it is much more comfortable to work at home and you save a lot of money (for example the costs of driving to your work) and in some cases people have much more time to spend with their families…mothers for example. But i really think that this is a very unpersonal way to work. Cause in my opinion it is important to work “in the company”..which means to share social contacts with your other colleagues and i think that you also have more discipline when your boss sometimes takes a look at your work. So it has some good and some bad sides….

  5. Nowadays, when technology takes over the world telework is inevitable. Of course it has several advantages, for example, telework can make some savings for companies – it reduce overheads, optimizes human resources, increase the flexibility of the company’s organisation, facilitate recruitment of personnel, raise employee productivity. Employees also have a number of benefits, for example, they have lower travel time and costs, flexible working hours, freedom of action and organisational flexibility, employee can to reconcile work with family obligations. Telework also gives opportunities for the disabled.
But from the other side there are a lot of disadvantages and the main of them is that there is no direct communication between company and employee. Therefore it is hard to motivate staff but motivated employees are the company’s most valuable asset.
I support this approach to work in areas such as IT, accounting, journalism, but a wider transition to such work I don’t. Already a large part of our free time we are at home and if telework becomes more popular, then people would not be required to leave the house.

  6. Teleworking as said lolle13 is connected to lot of pros and also lot of cons…Somebody can think that is more flexible- you can stay at home and do work when you want but i think this can make home more stressfull place, cause i think, and my experiences are like that, when i am at work i have to do my work but when i come home i can relax and dont think about work, home is place where you can relax and calm dont, spend time with family and this can turn into stress-cause you have to work and also have to work for your,i dont know..i like the old way how to work…
